Oh I KNOW the sentiment. My long fic of doom makes me want to go into dark recesses of one-shots. NO MORE LONG FICS. For my writing I mean. UGH.

At first, when I found Bela with Drunk!Dean whom Sam had FOOLISHLY abandoned I thought...oh, crap. Please no dragons....but then I thought, eh, I have faith in the dragons. I believed. And my faith was rewarded.

This was perfectly written to provide the visual:
Dean palms the top of the car, and gives the driver door handle his full attention. He’s chuckling like a five year old as he tucks back in, pulls the nine of diamonds out of his jacket.

And I loved that he's stumbling....

For no amount of money would I ever write a fic in which Dean touched Bela. Unless he was smacking her one in the mouth. I might write THAT fic.

You know what? It really shouldn't be, but the thought of Dean stumbling around a parking lot with his shirt hanging out his fly is just...why the fuck is that hot?
