• Betrayed my dogs and cat by imprisoning them in the care of complete strangers, who will likely NOT do the belly scratching thing for Neffi or the under the chin thing for Giles, or the upside down carpet face thing for Pippy. At all.  Or if they do, they’ll do it WRONG.

Sorry, not slapping you either. Those all sound like entirely legitimate and important reasons to be not packing, etc. Except maybe the best auntie gift thingy--that you should do.

So, should I tell you about the part where the plane crashes into the motel pool? (Not really. Just messin with ya.) Mockingbird rocks!
