I know a lot of my flist frequent sf_drama, so y'all have prolly seen THISThe last few days I've been in a bit of a funk. My Nanny was an exceptional human being. Flawed, and imperfect, but about as stubborn as they come and hard as nails.

I miss her muchly. My cousin recently messaged me her condolescences, as we hadn't had a chance to catch up since Nanny's death, and she commented that my grandmother and I had always shared a bond that seemed untouchable by anyone else in the family, and I really like to think that's true.

We are, for better and for worse, of the same mould. I understood her and she understood me. And that is a rare and beautiful thing in my family. :)

Merry Christmas to you! I'm so glad you got a smile out of this. I can categorically say that it gave my entire outlook a 180 degree turn in less than five seconds flat.

My Nanny was a bulldog. Hell, yeah. I had a bowl of cherries for her on Christmas day. No Christmas at Nanny's was complete without the bowl of cherries. :D

I never heard of sf_drama, but it looks like a fun place.

What better gift than a goat! Totally cool.

I've been depressed and spending money like an idiot, so thanks for sharing your grandmother and reminding me of the spirit of the season.

sf_drama is one of those places I drop by on the odd occasion when I'm feeling wanky and want to point and laugh at other peoples' stupid. But occasionally they have cool stuff like this, too. :)

I'm proud of Ma of Dragons, too. *smishes her*
