Today I am not very badass. The floor of my house is littered with stuff I have dropped and simply cannot face picking up.

I hope to get off the couch by Monday. But I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks for overlooking my post-training wussiness, though. Much appreciated!

I am soft and squishy and bruised like a peach today. Heee.

I accept your Dean. Thank you. He will do very nicely indeed for a recovery plan. :D

You are badass!
*passes more icepacks*
Is it wrong that I'm jealous of you? I'm essentially a pretty physical person and I've had to turn pretty sedentary over the last few years - being in school full time and working 3 jobs and with my horse increasingly lamer and less ridable. He's just moved to a new home (fingers crossed he likes it and doesn't get himself killed) and I'm looking for a boxing studio...

BUT --- GO YOU!
pretty sure you were the only one doubting you wouldn't pass with flying colours -- and this explains why your fight scenes always ROCK!!
Lactic acid really is your friend - that burn makes me happy too... (and we are not alone....)

One of the things I adore about my job is how physical it is. Not with the detainees, because that is never fun when it becomes necessary, but just the opportunity to play sport with them and sweat and get paid for it.

A lot of the guys at work box for leisure, or competitively. It's certainly very aerobic. A few rounds with a partner is waaaaaay more taxing than a run. And more interesting than jogging, too. But I always feel so horribly self-conscious when we're training in lines and practicing punches. I feel like an uncoordinated douchebag. I'm much better at it when you throw me into the real deal and I'm actually in fear for my personage. LOL.

Sorry to hear your boy is lame. :( Sam's getting older and older, and I keep expecting the inevitable to happen any time, but so far, so good. *fingers crossed* Hope your guy likes his new home.

LACTIC ACID IS NOT MY FRIEND.

Go you! I am so far beyond impressed, and I know who I want on my side for the inevitable zombie apocalypse!

I am totally qualified to drop a zombie now! I even know how to stop them from eating my elbow when I have them pinned on the ground!

Stick with me, kid. We'll kick those zombies asses.
