Seriously though, that was brilliant. And wily! Because your hints were very subtle - I wasn't at all suspicious until Dean commented on it being another fucking motel room, and then Jo says that the gun is ornamental. That's when I become of the opinion that the Dragons was being a clever clogs.

“What the hell part of ‘later’ did your stupid ass not understand?” Yeah, Dean. What?! I'm sad Dean is dead, but also kinda jazzed that he's with Jo :)

Yes, I figured it out!

But not until that last section.

I love the way you did this - kept it very uncertain 'til the end, so that it might be AU. The ending is more satisfying that way, I think. Love the "What part of later didn't you understand??" thing - because hell yes, she'd be furious at him getting himself killed.

That last line of Jo's was the first line of this fic that came to me. I loved the idea of Dean Winchester dying, and Jo being all: CAN'T YOU FOLLOW A SIMPLE FUCKING INSTRUCTION?

Because yes. I cannot get enough of these two snarking at each other. Even when they're dead. *chortles*
