holy shit, girl.
that was one hell of a chapter.
action upon action upon beth did what?! and crossroad demon who?! and holy motherfucking hell that's gotta hurt *cringe*

as always -- well, well, well worth the wait. your descriptive powers never fail to amaze me.

"Dean let loose a remorseful, unpleasant bay, and Keehan punted him again."

For some reason i just stared at this sentence for a while, marveling at that "bay". it is such a freaky word.

how is dean going to recover? i pray he never does. WHAT? JUST KIDDING???

anyway thank you for this update. it's late where i am and i won't be sleeping this evening and i really needed a distraction.

Thank goodness I have such a black comedy sense of humor, because this bit:

The demon landed roughly on top of Dean, which was probably pretty indicative of the kind of month they were having. His dazed brother let loose a profoundly wronged shout, and Sam would have to apologize for that later.

Made me snort with laughter. Possibly tinged with hysteria, because OH DEAN... but still... yeah. Not their best month ever. And that crossroads having the hots for Dean even while trying to puzzle out the conundrum of Sam... nice nod to canon.

*looks around* where's chappy 9? *puppy eyes*

Damn. Hiatus and me are not the best of friends. It makes me all kinds of demanding and pushy and stuff. I think I need to reread this chapter and really soak it in. You pack the hurt in in such a way that it feels visceral and compelling.

Dude. It has taken me so damn long to get these chapters up, I'm surprised anyone remembers what FANDOM I AM IN, much less what chappy I has got to.
