Oh thank God for this treat since I am holding off on The Lee until it’s complete. Just so wonderful, as always. This: ‘There was so much now his brother couldn’t possibly know. Like how it was to want someone back so bad, and then get your wish and have it be so awful. To have them so nearly-there and yet so broken, and to know you were the reason.’ Just says it all, really.

It was really a surprise to see Ruby… I always had a soft spot for Ruby. Wish they’d used her better. I love how the PTSD creeps in but doesn’t take over: much like Show.

...I mean, lovely balance of whump, brotherly interaction, and casefic! I was actually rather surprised when Ruby showed up, but I think you pulled it off. I do hold a special place in my heart as well for your version of S4 Alcoholic!Dean, since Show made such a big deal about it, but it seemed to me like one of those things that Kripke was telling without showing. That's how it should have been done. *points and applauds*
