Earlier this morning, watermelontail posted a link to the Eurythmics song, I Saved the World, with the suggestion that we listen to it after voting. I've listened to it several times today, in between other things, and I just wanted to share the goodness with all of you. ♥

LOL! Although I made three trips to the polls yesterday, I only voted once. The remaining times were making sure my sons had my support in doing their civic duty and participating in this historic event.

My back is sore today (thank goodness our lines were short to non-existent, because just waiting for my boys to fill out our long ballots was more standing than I'm used to--I really need to get in better shape *g*), but I am supremely happy about the outcome of this election.
