2009 Hiatus Challenge #2
Thanks so much to everyone who jumped in and got dirty with Challenge #1. We're going in a slightly different direction with Challenge #2. *g*
2009 Hiatus Challenge #2: The Bechdel Test
What do I have to write?: Write a story (drabble, ficlet, whatever you like) that meets the criteria of the Bechdel Test, which are:
1. It has to have at least two women in it,
2. Who talk to each other,
3. About something besides a man.
In other words?: The focus of your story needs to be on two or more women, talking to each other about anything at all, except a man. You can have men in the story if you like, but only if the story meets the above criteria as well. *g*
Then what do I do?: Once you’re ready to share your story with the world, post it on your LJ (or wherever you normally post your fic), then post a link there in this thread. You’ll have two weeks for each challenge response. If you can’t make the deadline, please don’t stress. Let’s face it, a late story is better than no story.
