Memory Lane threads

Just like on TV it is time for us to remember all our contestants one last time before we move on to the big finale.

I will start us out, using lovely keyboard banners made by miss_vacant, by posting a comment containing a few words from each player when they took up the challenge

My dear Simone. I was so glad that you came on the island with us. I'm always happy to spend time with you - your wit and intelligence and gentle disposition are the best company, and of course, I am a huge fan of your work. I am only saddened that you left the island before my vintage hootch was ready, this most recent brew being of a spicy flavor I think you might have enjoyed (I sprinkled it with sea anemone). So I'll just have to content myself with sitting with you in a cozy 4-star hotel paid for by the Survivor production crew and sipping fruity drinks form coconuts we didn't have to cut ourselves while we discuss important things like law, justice, and Wentworth Miller's tight ass. Thanks for playing and making this a great experience!

Dear Laurika. Another fellow Fictator and the gentle compliment to the rest of our brassiness. I was so glad I got to meet you and have you as a teammate. I knew from the beginning you would give it your all and you exemplified that when you not only took on the slash challenge, but you went with the brothers. You showed us that you may be sweet, but you've got steel, lady. And I am in eternal admiration of the very classy formal wear you managed to weave for yourself out of sea grass and palm leaves. Ralph Lauren should look out! I can't wait to party down with you - the first round's on me. (remember, clothing optional!) Thanks for playing and being a great teammate!

Rosie, having you here on the island was a true joy. And I'm not just saying that because I know you had a cache of homemade weapons stashed somewhere around here before you left. No, the sentiment is genuine and does not reflect the fact that when you departed, the Survivor crew found you were wearing a shiv made out of a seashell in your shoe and a bola fashioned from coconuts, rocks, and twine in your brassiere. I believe you when you say those were meant for the PB writers and not us other survivors. And I will stick to my conviction and stand proudly next to you at the final party when we toast to our time on the island. But just for old time's sake, I got you a restraining order as a gift. Thanks so much for playing and making it fun!

Well, Sarah, it was a grueling several weeks, but it was made so much easier by your smiling presence and your nightly games of drunken charades. What would we have done without you? You played so well and wrote such lovely pieces that I am very tempted to forgive you for hogging the one and only toothbrush we had to share. Now that my teeth have fallen out, I really don't mind that much anyway. But I was so glad to have you along on the island, you made the whole thing so much more fun than I ever thought it could be. I can't wait to sit down with you at the big party and eat some well-cooked animal flesh. Thanks so much for playing!
