But I gotta post something because I'm really behind on that self imposed schedule that I won't mention because I don't want Jory to make fun of me again.
JESSIIIII why are you so great? These are super cute! Any luck with the community garden searches?
And ohhhh I want to see what you're working on. You should scan and/or take photos and email me themmm. Or you can post here! Also if it helps I have not heard of that band before, but I like their name.
I found a lot of gardens, even in Toledo! Though they all seem to be run by either churches or school children, two groups that seem unlikely to let me join.
It is likely that I will break down and post some of the stuff I've been doing soon, as I sure as heck won't have anything else to post. If not, I'll be sure to send em to you anyway ;)
If you feel like trying them out, the album "Huggable Dust" is a good place to start. I have no idea if they'd be your cup of tea, but it's worth a shot. They are super adorable and their songs are deceptively simple but with repeat listenings they reveal themselves to be complex and layered and yesssss.
Indeed I do! It is from Physics Day '06 (slogan: "Having Much Abundant Fun"). I recently altered it a little so that it is no longer a tent, but it remains, unfortunately, the sort of shirt one wears only to bed. This does not prevent Julius from being the Best Television Scientist Anywhere Ever.
The even better thing about macs is how they self-levitate, so I don't even have to draw a computer desk.
Too cuuuuute! Also I know there's a garden in Columbus, called Garden for Hope or something, at which you can volunteer. I even know someone on LJ who worked there if you wanted to talk to her. Unless you're looking for paid work, in which case well...BEST OF LUCK!!!
Cool! Yeah, I'd just be looking for some place I could volunteer, have some of the veggies. Or a place that charges a small amount of dollars to use a plot. So yes, I'd like to talk to this lady, please!

Thoughts: You have a Julius Sumner Miller t-shirt? That's awesome! And I like that since you're a Mac user, you don't have to draw any corners!
