It's been an exhausting evening - but one that ended in the best possible way.

It's been really a wintery stormy sort of day up here, and early on Boxing Day we got a surprise call from my younger sister that she was going to come to BC (from northern Alberta) for part of the Christmas holidays, after all. Quite the unexpected thing this year! She ( Read more... )

Happy Birthday sweetie! I know I've already said it but I just wanted to say it again! I FINALLY wrote back to your email so I hope that you got it and I also hope that you saw the other dedication I left on Remarry. ;)I hope that you had a great birthday and I'm glad nothing happened to your sister; give her a hug and some hot chocolate for me!

Well, I shall shut up and go do something else. Probably stare at a word document and attempt to write another story or a new chapter to some other story. Or maybe finish one of the seven I have in progress. *le sigh* I shall talk to you soon!

'Lyss! Hello! And thank you VERY much! :-) Awww, you not only remember my birthday (even ahead of the day!) but you write not one, but TWO Harry Potter fics and dedicate them to ME??? Wow, I am so honoured and flattered!

And I'm so glad you mentioned the second fic because I've been SO terribly busy that I haven't had time to check LJ or the flist or comms at ALL, and I might have missed the second one! (and it's absolutely fabulous! Remus has hope! But More on that at the actual fic locale!)

Hope it's been a good one! (and that you enjoy my first little Remus and Harry ficlet attempt for you!)

The icon IS so cute - Remus as a Gryffindor student! I only wish I knew who the artist was. (technically, I probably shouldn't have snagged it to use as an icon, but he's so adorable there I couldn't really resist!)

Thanks very much! I appreciate very much being thought of - and sometimes, when one's birthday falls at Christmastime, it tends to fall a little by the wayside, and be forgotten by even close friends and relatives! So thanks!

And thanks to the wishes for a 'boring' 2008! I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree. :-)
