I shouldn't be this nervous, but I am. I've posted 2 things in less than a week after and entire year of drought and self-doubt and seething self-hatred.... one of them a new chapter in a highly read WIP that I should have just fucking taken down because... because... whatever I post now will NEVER match expectations and I'm only going to get my ( Read more... )

I thought both were amazing and was delighted I got to read them!

The interlude was the best kind of surprise to see in my notifications :D

And it sounds stupid but we are always are own worst critic - especially when crappy years are, well, crap. I hope things are improving for you though!

I didn't even see the Interlude goes to read.

Looking at the comments, the general consensus seems wow this is awesome and better than I expected. :P

Mostly though I'm glad you are feeling up to writing.

Thanks. Things get to be road-blocks in the mind sometimes -- far bigger than they need to be.

Getting it out of the way helps.

While I haven't actually read the latest chapter that you posted (it is on my looooong to-read list) I was super delighted to see the update! Your writing is always a treat to read. I also wanted to ask how you feel about podfic (it is like audiobooks only for fanworks)? I sent you a message a little while ago about podficcing one of your (oooold) Zelda stories "Trespassing". I would love to know whether I could podfic it (even if your answer is "no" - better that than the uncertainty). Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful writing!
