#2 buy some chewing sticks that are tea tree oil and/or cinnamon flavored, and gnaw on those. they suppress the urge to smoke and keep your mouth busy AND give you fresh breath that you don't want to ruin by smoking something stinky anyway!
#3 curl up in a corner, rock and cry while moaning every once in a while and knocking your head against the wall.
#4 don't buy cigarettes - you can keep a pack *in reserve* but DON'T smoke them. tell yourself they are your last pack and you'll never have them again so they're for special occasions only. like when the planet's about to explode.
I successfully used chantix to quit(no side effects, except weird dreams), and stay away from the club! chew lots of gum, get a little handheld gaming console, read books or sleep a LOT, or work out! clean every trace of cigarette nastiness out of your life, and do NOT let others smoke around you. also if you like to eat, find super healthy snacks, cause all I craved was junk food when i quit last time lol.
fyi, find a quitting buddy who will support you to quit, preferably an ex smoker, and be prepared for mood swings.

I smoke when I'm bored ...and don't have gum. I'm down to about five a day, but I don't think I'll quit.
Good luck.

Baby Carrots help, you can take them anywhere and gum!
The club will be super hard... I used Nicorete and it helps lots!
Still take your breaks, bring a book instead...
