!! Thank you, I had no idea! Now I feel a bit guilty for having written nothing in the last year that wasn't part of this Arthurian space-AU thing. XD Need to get on that Percy/Gawain I was supposed to write back at Easter.

No, I like that your Kay has a strong, cranky voice; just because he kind of likes Mordred enough to sleep with him does not mean he has any illusions about Mordred being a sullen sumbitch. It makes him a nice narrator for the fic.

Also I am always a fan of pwp. >_>

Why thank you! I'm so glad you approve; he's one of those characters I was nervous about trying to write. The piece was originally a third-person thing, but then it kind of turned into first-person from Kay's POV as I wrote. (I had to go back and change the whole first paragraph.)

Cranky!Kay is the best Kay. I felt like he and Mordred would clash nicely enough to have some chemistry. That, and I'm way too fond of snark to be entirely healthy. XP
