Pike does not tolerate shenanigans! That last line made me want to give the good admiral a high-five and a beer.

I have to admit that I had a really hard time coming up with a plot until my beta told me that it would be hi-la-rious if Kirk decided to paint a field lavender. And then I started laughing hysterically and it all just kind of snowballed from there :)
