Being the last to say "Not it," I became the singer for Rock Band. Though I couldn't remember the words to the songs, nor hit a clear note (my flats were sharp and my sharps were off the chart) I still got a 93% or better on my scores.
The game is definitely calibrated to allow for not-so-fabulous singing. I'm not all that great of a singer, but I can usually get in the 90% range on "Expert" in RockBand. (And it's a lot easier than drums! =D )
