I'm glad it worked out well for you, seems like a similar reaction my parents had. I never did tell them furry directly but did explain using the suit for public charity events, kinda eased them into it, lol. They now know about the conventions I attend but never really asked much detail. It's a huge relief to get this out to family, no more hiding the fursuit when they visit. :P
