Early in the year a long-time family friend of martha-pomes let us know that they wanted to sell their home and retire to Nevada. I was going to say, I refinanced through SDCCU a year ago this month, and found the process wonderfully painless and pleasant. I'm glad you wound up looking into them.

I thought the rate was very good, and while I probably could've found a better one (by small fractions of a point) by searching around, I believed my time and sanity was worth whatever added expense sticking with the CU might cost me. I really can't say enough good things about them.
