There are two things I'm still anxiously awaiting the outcome of: Proposition 8, and Norm Coleman vs Al Franken. In just the last few minutes, with 98% of precincts reporting, the lead has been seesawing between Coleman and Franken. So, this guy is running for Lafayette city council. And his accusations against the existing regime practically amount to a conspiracy theory. But the incumbency... they don't look so good right now. So should I throw the bums out, or is this other guy a flake?

"Researcher" proves that we'd be $35,000,000,000,000 richer if we didn't have abortions
The logic: if aborted babies all grew up the US population would be 356,000,000 instead of 305,000,000... and this would create tons of extra productivity. Of course "productivity" as defined by economists is largely a measure of how low your wages are... but ( Read more... )
