it seem so much more full and exciting. I think because the splendid wrapping paper makes it feel thicker. :D
Oh hey!! Do your parents run "Heart Of Gold" film fest? I feel somewhere in time that I've heard that rumour. hehe And we were just rewatching a dvd of the top 10 entry's from the fest, which Rod gave us and we saw your name along side "A Dog's Life" plus in the credits of a few other ones. And your last name is scattered throughout quite a lot of them. :D xo
Who was the cute, little kid in "Good Looking"? Were the people in "Good Looking" acquaintances? Your family are talented.
Oh my goodness that one? 365 Grateful Daily????? I LOVE that one. It inspired me to get my Grandparents' old Polaroid and get creative. I even picked up an old thick book full of blank pages to stick photo's in that I can use. Wow!! Did you see someone wrote into the latest Frankie and said how much they loved that article??
Now, Frankie is a Aussie mag, right? It looks like loads of fun! What all does it cover usually? I had fun getting backgrounds/wallpaper for the computer on their site.;)
Yes, its a little Aussie mag. Scattered throughout is a bit of course rubbish but sidestepping that it's a wonderful little thing and it inspires my creative side continuously. :)
Well, its a very arty magazine and covers all sorts of things such as: Indie music artists, books, food, sewing, photography, clothes, hidden away restaurants around the place, random little things...Oh a heap....it supports a lot of little homebusinesses that people make for themselves selling little nicknacks etc.
Oh cool! Yes I love their backgrounds too. So much fun. :D
Argh. I went in to the Chancellor newsagents on the way home from church this morning, and hounded and glared, but they only had three copies in, all of them reserved. I was like, you idiots, surely if you ordered in more you could fit them in next to your TEN COPIES OF DOLLY LINED UP NEXT TO EACH OTHER. So now I'm going to Buderim. In your face! :P I soo want it, RIGHT NOW. Oh, we're going out soon, should hunt around the coast until I get it. Yay!
Silly newsagent. I don't get them some times. I went searching pretty much EVERY newsagent store in Brisbane for their Frankie Afternoon Tea cookbook at one point and no one had it. One agent even apologized and offered to order it in for me and told me they'd give me a call when it was in. Well, a month later I went in and they made some excuse of why they couldn't get it in. *arrr* Not good enough. I'll just order it straight from Frankie then. In your face! :p
Yes, this issue (like every issue) is most desirable. :) The wrapping paper is too good to use. Hope your search proves fruitful. I miss you.
I miss you, too. A lot. And I really mean it - I just feel like putting on slow, drifty music, and lying, even if we're not talking. I wish we saw each other more so that when we did we didn't have so much we had to catch up on.
I really mean it too. I was at home sometime this week just attempting to do some petty sewing and I thought, "Gosh, I really want - need even - a Danielle hug. A big one". True story.
I wish that too. Heaps.
Last weekend before we were on the coast house hunting, we were up near Montville/Maleny and we went to Lake Baroon and it was amazing. At least I thought it was and us girls decided in our head that we would come out here one Saturday with you girls and hire a boat and go out alllll day on the lake and sunbake in our bikini's or whatever we feel comfortable in and listen to music on our portable radio/ipod dock and eat sandwiches. We could even dock on the other deserted side have a picnic. Dad was pretty open to it. Now to find a free Saturday.
