That's one of the main things I didn't get in the SV fandom, I got late to everything so I start looking for information at some boards...terrible choice. So that was it for me, then I found the Chlollie comm :).
Yeah... it was awful, I remember get into the ship/characters wars cause there was the constant war between Luka/Abby shippers and Carter/Abby, but then there was this group of girls who hated Abby because she was with both Carter and Luka in the show, which was a really silly reason.

I'm not really surprised that a lot of people don't like Chloe on Smallville, I have to say that I'm not exactly her biggest fan. I mean, I don't like out and out hate her or anything, but most of my gripes have to do with mythos as well as a lot of her actions S7 through S10. It always annoyed me the most when people (mostly Chloe fans) found reason after reason to hate Lana or actually Lois, for the simple reason that Clark loved and cared for both of them.
I get that. I mean I'm not the biggest fan of anything Superman related cause he's my least fav hero, and Smallville didn't help with my rejection either lol.
Yeah I get that, I like Lois, a lot! at one point I consider to watch SV years ago only because of her, but it wasn't enough. But it is weird to get ino the fandom it's like you can like both Lois and Chloe, or you can like the three women of the show. And I learnt that the hard way in a board cause yeah I like Lois but I read all kind of comments related to Chloe and her fans, so it goes both ways really, and it's nasty for people starting into the fandom...after that I just stick my nose in the chlollie comm. I rather share my love for the show over there, and see if there's nice people who can actually like another characters too.
