This reminds me of going to the Towers Mall in Stratford in 1977/78 and taking the Pepsi Challenge, and being very upset that I kept picking Coke.
This made it awkward 15 years later, when I went to work for Pepsi for a couple of years.

Then again, I also can't see Bill Hicks doing voices for Disney movies, and especially not for freaking Operation Dumbo Drop.
The thing is, I like Dennis Leary. But he's no Bill Hicks. Leary is just an asshole to other people: Bill Hicks had actual important shit to say about our society. Leary says "fuck you, I'm an asshole," Bill Hicks said "Fuck you, because you're perpetuating a society in which something like Billy Ray Cyrus can be a big star."
Also, I have to give Dennis credit for his work on Rescue Me and other stuff, and like you say, I can't get angry at the man for making a living - who knows how much money they offered him for his voice on these various animated movies, and he has kids, and blah blah.
Steve Martin... ought to know better. But that ship has loooong since sailed.
