My friend Tina might be subletting in Boston, I'll drop her a line and see.

I'm looking for a sublet in Providence, I think I wanna stick around for the summer. The whole process is kind of a pain.

Let me get back to you on that. One of my future apartment-mates found a group of people that could fill our whole apartment a bit before you posted this comment. But if any space opens up, I'll let you know.

Just an explanatory note:

It has been suggested a few times that unnamed525 experiences some brand of mental disorder, some folks "in the know" seem to think he does. His banning from philosophy was around an incident where I'm certain some kind of instability was in play. I was only able to calm him down through excessive reasoning. That was his last "get out of jail free" card with me.

You should know that this is probably very relevant to his rather disgusting behaviour lately. I've quit the community permanently, and if all the "active" members do the same, he might get the hint. Demodding Lane from a philosophy community is like benching Michael Jordan.

Just an FYI...

Yeah, I kind of guessed as much. I mean, I'm not sure what saying somebody has a 'disorder' accomplishes, but his normal behavior and obsessiveness and everything else were clues to abnormality. I'm only slightly surprised it played out this way, although I was hoping for a different outcome. I had been working on a comprehensive but neutrally worded complaint, requesting rule changes and such, for about an hour and a half while watching stuff unfold before shit hit the fan--I thought I might be in a position from which I could criticize him without setting him off. That's why I made that first post requesting how to go about it--to keep things impersonal as well as give Lane a chance to get involved in a noncommital way. I was hoping to get the sisyphus stuff to blow over with an apology from him or maybe even a polite resignation. Too bad gerbilsage pushed him over the edge. What's his motivation, really? Just loves being an asshole ( ... )

I think it's safe to say that if the community is reduced to Xiota and him talking about... whatever the hell that is they're talking about (wtf is a "Trope"??) then it will have met its timely demise. 4/5ths of the posts are just unnamed blathering on about something anyway.
