Man, every time I have stumbled on computer theory type of stuff, I get weirded out about how applicable - generally speaking - it is. I have no background knowledge of this stuff as should be blatantly obvious. I've (upon first stumbling across the terms) fallen into great idiot traps whirling around in circles going what exactly does 'information architect' mean etc etc. The pit only seemed to deepen the more I tried to find out. Thanks, cog-sci. I'm paranoid putty in its hands. Mind-out-of-body. My friend advised that I stop reading about it. This all sounds stupid in the reciting of it. It's too delightfully weird. It makes me happily and stupidly interested, of course. I ought to stop being so self-absorbed. This would be embarrassing if I weren't anonymous.

For whirling circles, I'd recommend Wikipedia.

For self-consciousness, I'd recommend chilling out. This is, after all, a -ive-ournal. Self-absorption is the norm.
