I've been meaning to write a follow up to this post for a while now. In the earlier post, I attempted to draw a distinction between positivist and computationalist systems. Hey -- off-topic, but I don't know your email, so I'm spamming your blog:

I've been reading Derrida on Husserl recently. Have you ever tried to read Derrida? Sometimes I get the impression that it really is all bullshit, but it's damn *dense* bullshit. Do you have any opinions?

Hi there. Sorry to say I haven't read any Derrida, although I've always wanted to tackle it. So, no opinions yet. Let me know if there's anything by him you'd recommend though.
