What sucks

You know what sucks? Spending so much time debugging JavaScript (god DAMMIT!) during your work day that your wrists bother you at night, so all of your interesting personal projects which require the use of technologies like word processors or the internet are impossible to pursue without considerable physical discomfort ( Read more... )

Switch hands. I started using the mouse with my left hand when my right wrist began to hurt and it's worked out splendidly since.

Not a bad idea. Although a lot of this is from typing. But I've found that raising my chair's armrests at work and making a ridiculously high makeshift wrist rest at home have helped a lot. Then again, it's only Monday.

Hey--I've mention to you that I'm working on open source software full time, right? Have I made it clear how awesome it is to work on open source software?

What I mean is: I know you know how great it is in the abstract. But before doing this I didn't really understand how cool actually _doing_ it is. More on this later, but I thought it might interest you.
