I used Kile this morning to write a document that one of the other TA's was supposed to do, and for the first time in my life I enjoyed working in LaTeX. Historically, I've hated LaTeX. The idea of having to debug a document always revolted me

My free trials of both Word and Pages have expired, so the only word processing programs I have are the RAM-hog monster OpenOffice, which will crash if I try to use it while iTunes is open, TextEdit and MacTeX. Consequently all of my papers for this semester are OCD-beautiful.

I'm actually happy with this change in myself, since I've decided that I want to ween myself off Microsoft products. Just being able to write math in a non ridiculous way is something I look forward to doing.
