Virtues of potluck / damn good story

Another successful Friday Night Potluck. Due to a malfunction of the Providence trolley system, Melanie was stranded out at the supermarket with the groceries, which meant that we actually weren't able to prepare any food ourselves.

The details are starting to fade for me. It was a jolly good time, though, with all the right sorts of characters to make for a truly interesting drama.

Potlucks are indeed wonderful. I will try to have one here. I'm a little afraid that no one will show up though, because then I will have to cry into my kettle of soup.

You could try to jump start it by starting small and just making people dinner. People are normally happy to go in for free meals.

I don't. He was a dick.

He actually plays an interesting mephistophelian role in the story. I'm still amazed by the irony that it was Lane's bet with him that he couldn't be banned from philosophy that led to Appy's takeover and the downfall of everything else....

Thanks. I also sometimes think I should apologize to apperception and that girl I insulted, if only to get unbanned from philosophy.

I actually defended that fuck when Appy first banned him.
