The lack of updates in the past couple of weeks has been due to the high eventfulness of my life lately, not the uneventfulness, as might naively be supposed.

But that feels like a long time ago. Especially since this weekend I went camping in Vermont with Katie, Melanie, and James (Melanie's idea).

You know what's funny-- there is a way to read this sentence and interpret it as saying that James is Melanie's idea. It gave me little chuckle.
