We are all loving it down here in Rosebud. The Mornington Peninsula is a great place to be, or it's where we want to be now so it's working out good. My wife is happy, my daughter developing into some loud, skipping, energetic bundle of noise, and I'm even more happy that their happiness is obvious ( Read more... )

Would have lovely to have seen you a Continuum 7 (which was a lovely Con), but hey, you live nearly as far from Melbourne as I do now. Settling in to such a new environment often takes time and if you love it now it’s great, because it will just get better. Great to hear life and writing are happening, I’m hoping running the driveway is just the start! (Old man).

Thanks, Steve, wished I could have made it to the con, but family ties were calling stronger. The driveway is making me younger by the day!

Not as roaming as you might think, as it is still a joy to see them out and about. And then of course there is culling season where there are more roos than you can imagine (and hunters for that matter).

As an aside, kangaroo meat is delicious! My favourite red meat if done right. Aussie should be farming them instead of hooved animals.
