Tim Marchinton recently took a couple of shots of me for his upcoming exhibition at The Oak Hill Gallery in Mornington next Saturday evening. He was pleased with the results as was I.

Hell, I might even have a proper author shot now!

These are both excellent shots. I really, really like the second one, although I'm sure the first is what most people picture when they read your work. ;-)

2nd shot is the one I'd go for too. The 1st shot is Tim having fun trying to capture the spirit of the evil writer that people think might be me.

Both good, though I prefer the second one as the author shot. The first one might scare people away, and once they've started reading, they'll figure out that's the real you soon enough anyway. :-)

Yeah!

I feel Paul needs a twirly evil 'tache. I'd photoshop one in if my computer was operational.

I prefer the first one with the writer's weapon of choice, because the second did me a trompe l'oeil and at first glance I thought it was a MLB (cant bring myself to say it twice) and then I couldn't help but see it that way and started giggling... sorry, it kinda breaks the chiaroscuro tension...

Awesome! I hadn't seen that either. Now it's even better.

Good shots indeed. And good to see you back in the virtual.
