Again, very happy to see Her Gallant Needs(Sprawl, Twelfth Planet Press) making the shortlist for Best Novella/Novelette.

Very happy. Did I say that already? Congrats to all the other nominees too.

I finally escape from the category with Cat Sparks in it, and who do I get instead? Paul bloody Haines! Obviously I need a new category, the noveletta, consisting of 14000-14200 words. THEN VICTORY WILL BE MINE!

Ha ha! I have a feeling Andrew McKiernan may be a strong contender this year round. He's the one to be wary of I think. You're doing good on the nominations this year though. There's also that Best New Talent which, not to put the mockers on you, has a good chance of going your way...
