I'm looking forward the showdown between your collection and Margaret Mahy's - it's like an all-in wrestling match between Stephen King and Ursula le Guin.
Best of luck in all your categories!

Haha! Thanks, Simon. I think Margaret Mahy will beat me up and throw me out. Is there any kid in NZ who was not exposed to her at sometime during their schooling?

I'd like to wish you the best of luck too, in all your categories, but I really hope you only win the one award (Best New Talent). Can I be that honest about my desires about you not beating me in the other categories? :-)

Thanks, Paul. And I have to say I would feel somewhat cheated if Single Handed somehow won out over Wives...

You know, I'm getting a bit bored of all these awards you keep dominating. Leave some for the rest of us, will ya?

In fact, I'm not a Kiwi, so this one doesn't matter. You can have this one.

Congrats on the noms!
