Jeez that brings back some memories... actually I was reminded of them last week as we went up North to Cape Reinga, Spirits Bay, Bay of Islands, Hokianga harbour etc - and passed mighty Houhora and Rarawa Beach, but unfortunately didn't have time to stop in as Oscar was asleep and Rach was getting a bit annoyed with all my continual pokings down side roads in the name of "just checking it out". Not too late for that band though - how's the guitar going? Have you progressed past "Mary had a Little Lamb" yet?
