My friend, Scott, and I narrowed it down to Julie & Julia or The Invention of Lying. I was leaning toward Invention, but Scott preferred Julia because of Meryl Streep. Since I had wanted to see the Nora Ephron film when it originally came out, I was happy with that choice.
