Just in case anyone is wondering what has become of Dudcon 3, the 2010 Australian National SF Convention,

The Ditmars are looking very nice. Who made them? (And now I'm wondering what I could have possibly done last year to get myself in the runnign for one.)

The black bit was my design, outsourced to a laser engraver over near G&K. The bottom bit is recycled iron-wood, of which we have a good supply. It lives up to its name as I broke two router bits making the groove for the black bit to sit in. Much sanding and varnishing later and it is all shiny as you can see.

Once the nominations process has finished (not started yet either) I'll know which categories have made the final cut and I can get some plaques made.
