fandoms and the stupids that try to ruin them...stupid rant ahead

I have a friend who posted about crap going on in the 5-O fandom. It made me think back to all the different fandoms that I have been in. I realized that in every flipping one of them there have been idiots that seem bent on fucking things up for everyone

YES!

All that I've heard about happening on Twitter is one of the big reasons why I don't go anywhere near Twitter.

People really need to take a step back and think before sitting in front of the keyboard.

It is so true no matter the fandom something always seems to blow up. Think that's part of the reason why there are shows that I just watch and don't get involved at all in the fandoms since I've seen it happen to much.

I follow people I like on twitter...some of the stuff they post is so funny I would hate for some idjit to make them stop =(

I know. One group of people can screw up a perfectly good fandom. We all remember how it alienated Adrian from the HL fans when the stalker from hell interfered in his life. She thought getting his personal information was cool. It wasn't. It was dishonest and intrusive. This fan doesn't have a clue how out of line she was. All her friends are concerned about is the fact that she was called out on the carpet by the star. He was right to let fandom know where the boundaries were right from the beginning.
