I'm so glad that the episode left room for them to be whatever you wanted them to be -- if you wanted to see them as friends, they were friends, or if you wanted to see them as together, you could do that too. I see them as not completely friends, but extremely unique people who've found someone they can relate to, so I figured Irene might keep a bit of contact. :) Thank you for your comment!
