Just got news from the landlord that my application has been approved to rent the condo in Mountain View. Now all I have to do is figure out a realistic moving day!

Now I'm thinking about loads of things I want to move down in the car while I figure out the Big Moving Day. And decorating.

Reading the lease there's nothing that says I can't paint. Hurrah!

Yep! As we said before, it is all falling into place nicely. I love the added bonus of being "popping-in" distance to the supermarket.

Yes, I'm very excited to be able to do some neighborhood walking. I've wanted that all my life. One of the reasons I love parts of Coventry and Edinburgh.

Me, too. That is, all of it. And today I took the tenants in to the vets where they learned to give Drake his shots, and tonight the most squeamish of them gave him his shot and fed him and spent time petting him and loving him up.

I'm very much looking forward to being able to be more active in the SCA.
