And arrived home Tuesday very glad to see us all, went around the whole house exploring (even finding the avalanche where the other cats knocked over the "recently-been-tidied-up-some" stack of things in the sewing room). He is getting greyer -- lots more white and grey hairs visible, fewer fawn

Are you concerned about the greying? You could take documentation photos every couple of months if you need to monitor it.

I'm glad he did ok at the vet's.

Yes, somewhat. I asked the vet about it, no answer yet. Hyla_Regilla took some pictures a few weeks ago and I will take one today, for docs.

I'm very glad he did OK.

Laugh! I have no electric can opener, so they'll just have to cope with the rattle of food in a measuring cup.
