John Winchester's Journal

Whew! It's been a while since I've posted here. I totally blame Plurk for taking up so much of my time! But I decided I was going to take a break from Plurk and post my thoughts on John Winchester's Journal.

Thanks for the review, Charissa! I'm still going to buy it, but at least now I won't get my hopes up over how good it is!

The little continuity things really do bother me. It's not like that info isn't all over the internet! How hard could it be to get the accurate details?! GRRR.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if John had torn out journal pages containing certain info! "Need to know", remember? *pokes Big Daddy with a stick*

I wonder if we are EVER going to find out the details of John & Bobby's falling out? This would have been a good place to have that story!

I didn't really have high hopes for this to begin with, but it is sad that the guy didn't put in a lot of effort with his research. Sometimes I wish they would just hire fans instead of professional writers to do this stuff. You know fans would be sure to get their facts straight (and there's quite a few out there who are pretty good writers!)

Thanks for the review! Continuity stuff like that bugs me..especially since everything is so easily verifiable. It's just lazy to me. I will be buying the book but appreciate the write up!

Awww, this bums me out! After so many so-so books and comics, you'd think they'd be proofreading the newer books a little better. It can't be that hard to find someone who knows the story to proofread. *sigh*

I'll still be buying it, though. I'm a sucker for Big Daddy- I can't help it!

They could hire me to proofread! Heck, I'd do it for free just so they could get the story straight.
