Unmovable. No matter how many arguments Guy threw at Anthony, the other man had done nothing but nod, swerve and answer monosyllabically. Anthony was tired, Guy knew that, understood that even, but that didn’t mean they had to sit down and be content about it all.

Guy was indeed very perceptive, though Cole hadn't even considered that he might be watching that closely.

Things with Patrick had... well, Cole wasn't entirely sure what they had except that Patrick had become increasingly less available, and increasingly more distant, and now simply increasingly less around though whether that was because he was taking more time to himself or actively avoiding Cole, Cole couldn't say. It seemed like things had been going so well for a while - they'd been having fun, and Cole genuinely cared about him. And well, between him and Guy, it had been more than a small boost to his ego, being able to share his bed with two lovely young men ( ... )

The song was recognised, and though Cole stayed away from the microphone, Guy heard the lyrics, as the older man had sung them before. Easy to love. After all this time one'd think the lyrics deserved slight alteration, but that was always a thought and never a voiced opinion. Guy had decided he enjoyed songs written for him, no matter what the content.

He leaned over the table and kissed him in greeting, before sitting back down and grinning. "We might be few, but we are faithful," and then slightly more wicked added, "in our way."

"Mmhmm," said Cole, leaning back in his chair and crossing his legs, drink in hand. "You are true to me in your fashion, darling, and I appreciate it. Don't think I don't know that you just come to see me play. Not that I blame you, of course."

Guy leaned back and down his drink. "I'm here because Anthony's being a cock-face," he stated very clearly and not entirely unlike a nagging school boy. "And there isn't much else to do in the evenings."
