Interview with the Doctor

It wasn’t long before Guy happily arrived to the door of the basement, the make-shift radio station. He greeted the Doctor and they both sat down, after which Guy lit a cigarette, offered one to the Doctor and switched on the system. The interview started without program and without further ado

The Doctor waved away the cigarette (even if he'd been inclined, Chase had made the consequences of lung cancer on the island brutally obvious). He cleared his throat and leaned in to the mic. "Thanks, Guy. And thank you for the opportunity."

He could do diplomatic.

"Well, as you said, you hope to continue to provide our voice onto Council, so I thought it only fair to let you share your voice with everyone else as well. And that is truly the first question; what perspectives, what thoughts do you believe are present on this island that might be or should be given voice to?"

[sortofaman]

"Well, I've said it for a long while now, Guy, and while there hasn't been much movement on it officially, I think the presence of those of us who were formerly non-human or those who formerly had extra abilities is important to remember. I've been drafting some information to put together to give to new arrivals, both those who've experienced a change and those who haven't."

"A starter's kit. The shock is harder for those who expirienced a change?"
