Don't know about you, but it's a no-brainer about where a vote should go if you want change. Doesn't much matter how appealing the Green Party's fuzzy positions and near-anarchistic approach are, anyone who wastes a vote on them -- in any district -- is a no-brainer themselves. Just ask President Gore how that worked out for him. In a tough, close race that Manzullo vs Abboud is sure to be, Greens could poison the small margin that could otherwise save the district from another term of mindless Republican rubber stamping. And don't be surprised to find Manzullo supporters gleefully steering funding towards that very goal.

"Fuzzy" positions? Sounds like Bush accusing Gore of fuzzy math. In any case, what is so fuzzy about the Green Party's position on Iraq? Troops out now. The Greens have always been against this war, unlike Hillary, who woke up one day and realized "you know something? The president might be lying. Maybe the evidence IS cooked." It would be great if that were the end of the story, but she and her fellow Republican wannabes continue to fund the war, in spite of their proclaimed opposition to it, and they don't do anything to stop it, hold anyone accountable, set benchmarks. The Democrats, as a party, are utterly absurd. As long as we keep electing Dems like Emanuel, Lipinski, and Bean, we're going to continue to have a defacto Republican majority in Congress.

What does Hillary Clinton have to do with the Democratic candidate in the 16th? The Greenies worst maladjustment seems to be their inability to distinguish between parties or accept that the Dems -- not so much like the GOP -- are able to elect people that aren't always party robots. As long as anyone mistakenly wastes a vote for a Green candidate in any close election, they are responsible for securing the seats of even the worst Republican troglodytes. Thanks guys for giving us 8 years of George W. Bush.
