Totalitarian Unitarians anonymous February 2 2007, 11:06:33 UTC
Well today's Unitarians aka U*U*s are no strangers to totalitarianism. Censorship and suppression of legitimate criticism and dissent is quite common. I expect that James Luther Adams would be appalled by some of the things that occur within the U*U "religious community" these days. I can't help but wonder if he was aware of the allegations that the German Unitarian religious community served as a front group for Nazi ideologues, including SS offiers convicted of war crimes, from the late 1940's right up until the 1990's.

Many people do not know that the term "Nazi" means "National Socialist German Workers' Party" and that members of the horrid group did not call themselves Nazis, but called themselves socialists ( ... )
