I am so ready to fly to Wisconsin and join in. And boy I hope the unions stick it out and push this -- I hope this will be a turning point for unions nationwide.
At the federal level, it's always amusing to hear the Tea Party types blathering about how we have to cut compensation to public employees, when that only accounts for something like 5% of the total federal budget (I wonder what percentage of the Wisconsin budget salaries account for?). It's easy to bash public employees and unions as Walker has done -- it's much harder to implement real-world, and financially sustainable, ways of balancing budgets at the state and national level, because it's going to involve tax increases on the wealthy, and that's something that people like Walker simply lack the courage to do.
Fire all of the teachers that called in sick remember they called in sick and you and I know that wasnt right what you and the others created put the jobs of hard working teachers in jeopardy you have no remorse for the students you kept out of class or the parents lets just say the taxpayers who you just want to glean more money from the state is in a budget crisis lets face it were broke and all you think about is yourselves you greedy SOB from madison need to all lose your jobs
