Over at uuMomma the proprietor is discussing funeral music.  She and her husband are partial to this Coldplay number.  I can see it.

I'm impressed. I have in the past given semi-serious thought to doing it myself once or twice. When we were kids we used to hop slow moving freights for comparatively short distances although I seem to recall one of my brothers going for a longer ride than he had initially wanted too. . . :-)

I am planning to buy an AMTRAK pass and riding the rails in relative comfort for a month on of these days. Possibly as early as this summer.

I was introduced to this by John McCutcheon--wonderful rendition of it--and went home from that concert with the song playing in my mind.
