Just out of curiosity I looked up the likelihood of a triple play occurring in a given game and it's 1,400 to 1. Not sure if that "1" is per play in a given game, or per game total.

I believe the '1' in question describes a scenario in which a triple play would even be possible, i.e. two base runners minimum. It's very rare and I don't remember the Mariners ever making a triple play but I would love to see one.

According to this site, the Mariners have turned 9 Triple plays since their founding in 1977. I'm still looking for a list of the actual dates those happened though.

Ah, here it is. The last time the Mariners made a Triple play was 7/13/1995 against the Toronto Blue Jays.
