I don't have a lot of desire to write anything, but I'll do my best.

I went and did karaoke at Goldie's tonight. There was like six people there all night. I arrived at about 11 and did 5 songs. They were all off the cd that quent burned for me from his crazy karaoke collection and it ruled. Grandmaster Flash's The Message is a difficult song to do

It was a lot of fun to attempt and with a bit of practice, it would be impressive to drop in the middle of a bar. I'm going to have to work on it.

Yeah, I have to admit I practiced at home for weeks before I tried it in a bar. I don't even have to look at the monitor.

I rarely practice any song. I don't really care if I suck or fuck up a song too much generally, but them faster songs are difficult without a little preemptive understanding of the flow.

The thing that messed me up the most was this guy who was rapping right along with me while I was doing the song. He was really loud and it kept on throwing me off when I was trying to focus.

sure can! the djs there are more than happy to use karaoke cds people bring in.

I only have one disc. I give the host the disc and a note that says which track on my cd.
